In 2001, Malita joined the Semaphore Dental team as a Trainee Dental Assistant. After a few years, Malita travelled to Darwin and worked as a Dental Nurse for the Australian Defence Force. With research revealing how Oral Health affects your systemic health, Malita saw how important the role of the Dental Hygienist is within the Dental Team and pursued a career as a Dental Hygienist.
Malita returned to Adelaide in 2009 to commence studies and graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Oral Health in 2011 with an interest for special needs patients. Malita has accumulated valued clinical experience in other parts of Australia before finally returning in 2015 to her family at Semaphore Dental.
Since then Malita has been providing active maintenance and educating the Semaphore Dental community to care for their oral health.
In her spare time, Malita likes to keep fit through hiking, cycling and netball. You may see her from time to time walking her much loved dog 'Rocky' here at Semaphore Beach.
